Leslee
is a Certified Flight Instructor, who can help you build dual time to
count towards your Commercial License, as well as your float
rating. Combining her skills and experience in instructing and
mountaineering with her love of the wilderness and her passion for flying
floatplanes in the bush, Leslee instructs on land planes and floatplanes,
as well as flying sight-seeing tours
and charters from Fort Langley Air.
One
of Leslee's claims to fame was co-piloting the Wings
Over Canada Cessna-185 floatplane (C-FUIE) for filming of the
2004 season of the TV series. She has been featured in more recent episodes
of the TV series including giving
host Darren Adam his float rating and an episode featuring Canadian
women in aviation.
Leslee
owns a Piper Arrow (C-FYZW) which she flies out of Boundary Bay airport
(CZBB) for flying adventures and keeping her IFR rating current. She
is proud to use YZW in her role as a volunteer pilot with Angel
Flight of BC a charitable, non-profit organization that provides
free, accessible air transportation for people who must travel for medical
purposes.
