Combining skills and experience in
mountaineering with a love of the wilderness and a passion for flying
floatplanes in the bush, Leslee pilots charters and sight-seeing tours from Fort Langley Air,
as well as instructing on floatplanes and land planes. Leslee
is a Certified Flight Instructor, who can help you build dual time to
count towards your Commercial Pilot License, as well as float
ratings and advanced training.
One
of Leslee's claims to fame was co-piloting the Wings
Over Canada Cessna-185 floatplane (C-FUIE) for filming of the
2004 season of the TV series. She has been featured in more recent episodes
of the TV series including giving
host Darren Adam his float rating and an episode featuring Canadian
women in aviation.
Leslee
owns a Piper Arrow (C-FYZW) which she flies out of Boundary Bay airport
(CZBB) for flying adventures and keeping her IFR rating current. She
is proud to use YZW in her role as a volunteer pilot with Angel
Flight of BC a charitable, non-profit organization that provides
free, accessible air transportation for people who must travel for medical
purposes.
In her spare time, Leslee
sings with the Harmony Mountain Singers and does computer consulting and website development (including the HMS and this Fort Langley Air website!)
